The Florida Department of Government Efficiency Asked To Audit Miami-Dade

The Miami Young Republicans sending a letter to the Florida Department of Government Efficiency asking for an audit of Miami-Dade's finances. President Tony Figueroa says investigators need to figure out why the county is 400 million in the hole. He blames waste, fraud and or abuse since there's been a 1-billion-dollar surge in property tax collections since 2020. Broward will be the first local government to go under the DOGE microscope later this month.
